NFL Reduces Jackson's Penalty If Traded

SAN DIEGO (CBS) - Vincent Jackson looks like he will be heading out of San Diego after the NFL and the NFL Players Association reached a settlement where he will miss one game instead of three because of roster exemption.

Jackson said he is very happy with the decision, but will still have to sit out three more games, if traded, since he was suspended for the first three games of the season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

The arbitrators decision will greatly influence a trade between the Chargers and Vikings.  Other teams who will jump in the mix will be the St. Louis Rams and Seattle Seahawks.
NOTE: If Chargers-Jaguars are blacked out, New England at Jets will be shown on CBS 2 at 1pm.
