ANAHEIM (KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO) — The “happiest place on earth” just got a bit pricier.

The Anaheim City Council has approved a two-percent tax on hotel bills, and while it may bring the city some much-needed revenue, many tourists say their lodging options are already limited.

    The Disney site here and in FL have raised their ticket prices, local govt. is allowing more tax increases for travellers to pay when visiting these parks. Just another way to help cut down on out of area visitors to them. Hotel costs are outrageous to begin with and every penny added hurts familes considering where they will take vacations.
