Chef Roy Yamaguchi Hosts Dinner For Foster Care Charity

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Famed chef Roy Yamaguchi will visit KCAL 9’s studios to demonstrate some of the delectable delights he plans to serve at a four-course dinner benefiting Hillsides, a foster care charity.

Yamaguchi, the chef behind Asian Fusion restaurant’s Roy’s Restaurants, will serve a special dinner at his Pasadena restaurant to raise money for the children’s charity.

Dinner tickets are $100, excluding tax and gratuity. Roy’s will also give guests a $20 gift card to be used at their next visit to the restaurant.

    Foster care charity is indeed a noble cause. Now, would other celebrities and non-celebrities, please take notice that our local food banks are strapped for help. The holidays are approaching and it takes at least two months advance to prepare for the demand for food.
