Read This, Before You Check In With Facebook

Canadian researchers did all the heavy lifting. Their conclusions seem a bit harsh: those who spend a lot of time on Facebook are more vain and egocentric than those who don't. Complete study, here.

So the more times you check your status, the worse human being you are. Women carefully manage their pictures. (Really?) Men and women who FB too often are expressing their need for admiration.  Are we surprised?  I dunno. I think it's funny that many who read this post will have found it from a link I posted on ... wait for it, wait for it ... Facebook. I'm proud to actually know at least 20 of my 4,ooo "friends."  I'm glad I'm not narcissistic. By the way, isn't that picture of me, cool? Look, I'd love to spend more time talking about all of this, but I have to go check how many new friend requests have come in overnight. I seem to be big in Argentina and Turkey. Look at me!  I'm international!
