Firefighters Free Man From Machinery In South LA

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Firefighters have freed a man whose arm became trapped in machinery Thursday morning, officials said.

Emergency crews were sent to the 2500 block of East 25th Street shortly after 9 a.m., Rich Matheney of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

Paramedics transported the man, whose condition was not known, to a local hospital, Matheney said.

The circumstances of the accident were under investigation.
