Cars, Garage Doors Vandalized With Swastikas In Thousand Oaks

THOUSAND OAKS (AP) — Racist graffiti and swastikas scrawled on garage doors and cars in a Southern California neighborhood are being investigated as a hate crime.

The Ventura County Star says the swastikas and the words "white power" were spray painted throughout the Thousand Oaks neighborhood early Tuesday.

Sheriff's Capt. Frank O'Hanlon says hate crime investigators are looking for the culprit.

A city cleanup crew removed the graffiti.
