Part Of Interstate 215 To Be Closed Tuesday

RIVERSIDE — Part of Interstate 215 just east of the 60-91-215 interchange will be closed from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday when a road crew examines an overpass that dropped a chunk of concrete onto Chicago Avenue on Aug. 31.

Three of four southbound lanes will be closed. Caltrans spokesman Jason Goldman said the connector ramp where southbound Interstate 215 merges with eastbound Highway 60 in Riverside also will be closed.

Planned detours around the closed areas will likely contribute to congestion on surface streets.
