Like an onion, the city of Bell salary scandal in the keeps peeling back to reveal more and more layers. And like an onion, it’s hard to find any part that doesn’t smell bad. So the county is investigating, the state is investigating, corrupt 3rd-world dictatorships are investigating (hey, “learn from the best,” right?), and angry mobs are organizing. Strike that: angry mobs organized on about Day-2.

Anyone think the managers and council members simply crafted favorable –but legitimate– contracts for themselves, and should be allowed to keep their jobs, salaries and pensions? Just thought I’d ask. Sound off below.
